"Our mission is
to assist with land use and management
through education, community projects,
and services."
|
Michigan's 79
Conservation Districts work to preserve natural resources through education,
research, and direct remediation of key areas. Conservation Districts are
supported by state, federal, and private grants, and through their own
fundraising efforts - especially the annual tree sale. Districts are directed
by locally elected boards made up of people committed to conserving our
renewable natural resources. |
