Large fruit that is red over a yellow background.  Extra crisp and juicy.  Ripens in late September to early October.

Red Max

A MacIntosh variety that turns bright red early.  A rugged hardy tree.  Ripens mid-September.

Lodi

An excellent early yellow apple.  Similar in quality and flavor of a yellow transparent but larger and firmer.  Has a moderate shelf life.
